In order to delay the onset of dementia, it is important that healthy adults take preventive measures. A new study has discovered the five best foods that can not only counteract the development of dementia caused by Alzheimer's disease, but also counteract the cognitive decline associated with aging.

In a new study published in Science Advances, researchers analyzed how food has the potential to reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Japanese researchers have discovered that a low-protein diet accelerates brain degeneration in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.

More importantly, they found that amino LP7-a supplement containing seven specific amino acids-can slow the development of brain degeneration and dementia in these animals.
